Nestled in the picturesque Scottish Highlands, Fonab Castle, refurbished and opened in 2013, boasts luxurious rooms, scenic views, mature gardens, free WiFi, free parking, and 2 restaurants.
Each individually designed room has been decorated sympathetically to blend a contemporary style with the original room features. The elegant en suite bathroom has a spacious walk-in power shower, bathrobes, slippers, and Thierry Mugler toiletries. Luxury Egyptian cotton, a flat-screen smart TV with Revo entertainment system, a Nespresso coffee maker, tea making facilities, fresh fruit and mineral water are also included. Some rooms offer views of the Loch Faskally or of the Highlands’ landscape.
Fonab Castle Hotel has 2 on-site restaurants; the Fonab Brasserie offering lighter meals and the Sandemans Fine Dining Restaurant for a sophisticated dining experience. On warmer days, diners may enjoy an al fresco dinner on the terrace overlooking the loch. The cellars boast a great selection of wines, whiskies and gins.
The property also offers Pods for an insideoutside dining experience.
Pitlochry Golf is only a 5-minute drive away, and the world-famous historic Gleneagles is a 40 miles from Fonab Castle Hotel.
The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Woodland Suite. Situated in the castles modern South Wing, this suite boasts French sliding doors with direct access to either a large patio or 2 balconies. Castle Suite. Fonab Castle’s flagship Penthouse Suite is located on the castle’s fourth floor with views over the Perthshire Highlands. Inside, Ulf Mortiz glass studded wallpaper adorns the walls which are decorated in muted velvet creams. The separate dressing room with power shower adds extra luxury. The room comes with high vaulted wooden ceiling, original panelled walls and 7ft Dickens Nickel bed. Please note pets cannot be accommodated in this room type. ;
Woodland Lodge Double Room. The Woodland Rooms are located in the Lodge Building which is adjacent to the main hotel. It features a double bed and floor to ceiling windows with wooden shutters. The rooms come with either a patio or balcony with table and chairs. Please note that this room does not face the Loch. Dogs are welcomed in these rooms, charge of GBP 30 per dog per night applies. ;
Lochside Lodge. This is a spacious room with contemporary décor. There is a 7ft bed and a sitting area with sofa and armchairs, located in the lodge building adjacent to the Hotel. The room comes with floor to ceiling windows offering views over Loch Faskally towards Ben Vrackie and Craigower Hill. The spacious en-suite comes with a waterfall bath and separate shower. There is also a 55 inch LCD TV, Nespresso coffee machine, entertainment system, Egyptian cotton linen, choice of pillows, bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, mineral water and hospitality tray featured inrooms.
